About the Festival

The TIME:SPANS festival is dedicated primarily to the presentation of twenty-first century music. The festival is produced and presented by the Earle Brown Music Foundation Charitable Trust. Artistic Director for TIME:SPANS is Thomas Fichter. The name TIME SPANS is taken from the title of an orchestra piece by the American composer Earle Brown.

2025 Festival

The Earle Brown Music Foundation (EBMF) will present 2025 TIME:SPANS Festival from August 9-23, 2025. The lineup will be listed here in April 2024 here.

Health and Safety

Face masks are encouraged, but not required.  If you have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the 10 days preceding a festival event, a high quality, well-fitting face covering is required at all times. 

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is not required; however, we encourage everyone to remain up to date on vaccinations before attending any festival event.

Parking at DiMenna

24-hr, paid parking is available near The DiMenna Center for Classical Music at 452 W 37th Street (corner of 37th Street and 9th Ave). Check with DiMenna Staff at front desk for a sticker to get up to 8 hours for $30.
